What is the whole process like from pick up to delivery?
After scheduling your pickup day and time, you will get a push notification reminder the day before your pickup. Most pickups are scheduled in the morning. (Don't worry - just set your laundry outside before you leave for your day and we'll handle the rest!)
You will receive a notification when your Laundry Lady is on the way to pick up.
Once it has been picked it up, you’ll receive a notification letting you know your laundry has been successfully picked up.
Then after your order is weighed, you’ll also get a notification of your invoice amount.
You'll also be able to view in the app when your delivery timeframe is expected.
You will also get a notification when your Laundry Lady is on the way to deliver and again once delivery is completed.
Do you include the weight of the baskets?
Absolutely not. The laundry is weighed as a whole then the weight of the basket(s) is then deducted.
How much does 1 load of laundry weigh?
A standard washing machine that is around 3.5-4.4 cubic feet can process 12-16 pounds of laundry.
What is your turnaround time?
Typically between 24-48 hours.
Is there an option to tip?
Yes! And 100% of the tips goes directly to the Laundry Lady who processed your laundry order.
I won’t be home during pick up/delivery. How does that work?
Most customers place their laundry on their porch for us to pick up during our route. We will also return the laundry on the porch as well. Some customers will also permit us access to a secured garage or vehicle on property, especially during inclement weather.
I have multiple children in my household. Is this a problem?
No, this is a big part of why this service was created! We sort by size as we fold/hang clothing to ensure pick up is a breeze!
I hang a LOT of my clothes in my closet. Will I have to unfold and hang these items?
No, at your direction we will hang the items you normally want hung up. No problem! Just please ensure to provide an adequate amount of hangers.
I am allergic to pet dander. Can I still use your service?
Yes! Just let us know when you’re scheduling your pick up and we will be sure it’s taken care of. We also sanitize the machines between every order to ensure cleanliness!
My child is potty-training/a virus went through our house/my daughter got her period for the first time and there is urine/feces/vomit/menstrual blood on underwear/pants/sheets/towels. Will your service still launder this?
Yes! We understand that life happens. We require these items to be bagged separately and clearly labeled so it can be properly handled and treated by our Laundry Ladies.
Can I provide my own detergent?
Absolutely!
What products do you use?
For stain removal, we use OxyClean powder and spray. For detergent we have: Gain, Tide, Arm & Hammer, All, and Melaleuca. We have scented as well as free and clear to choose from. Just let us know your preferences!
Do you offer dry cleaning?
Not currently, however, we can courier your dry cleaning for you!
What about hang to dry items?
We are meticulous while we are sorting the laundry prior to washing. We wash the hang to dry items separately to make sure they are not overlooked in a regular load.
However, if you separately bag the items you'd like hung to dry that would ensure nothing is put in the dryer you'd otherwise not have dried that way.
What about Hand Wash only items?
We handle those too!
Do you use fabric softener?
No, we do not. Unfortunately, fabric softener will break down the fibers of your clothing over time, will cause your towels to not absorb water as well, and it leaves residue build up inside washers. If you usually use fabric softener, we will use your product if you provide it. We run a cleaning tablet in the washers during the sanitization process so it will purge any residue left behind.
